CONFIGURED AS IEEE-488 BUS INSTRUMENT
This configuration facilitates direct connection to any system controller that provides an IEEE-488 I/O port.
In this configuration, the CDSbus System is a Bus Instrument and conforms to the industry standard set forth in the IEEE Publication, “Standard Digital Interface for Programmable Instrumentation and Related System Components” (IEEE std. 488-1978). The IEEE-488 bus structure is also known as HPIB, IIB, and GPIB.
