• Allows control of up to 40 independent discrete open-collector output lines
• Each output can be pulled up to an on-card +5V bus or external reference {0 to +30V)
• Each line may be programmed independently high or low
• Parallel load allows all 40 lines to be set simultaneously
The 53A-416 allows the user to control up to forty discrete high voltage open-collector output lines. Each output line can be independently set high or low, using ASCII characters issued from the system controller. In addition. all forty lines may be set simultaneously to any pattern using the parallel load feature.
Each output line can be pulled-up to either an on-card +5 volt bus or an external user supplied voltage (0 to +30 volts) using on-card 10 KOhm pull-up resistors. The pull-up resistors are socket mounted to facilitate user removal or value change.
BITE
Fourteen LEDs provide Built-In-Test Equipment {“BITE”) for the Open Collector Output Card. Range and units LEDs indicate the output status (high or low) of each discrete output line.
