The 53A-262 Programmable Rate Generator/Pacer Card (PRG) allows the user to program up to five pacer channels and one-bit rate clock channel. Channels A through E of the PRG are used to provide a pulse train output from the front edge of the Card. The user programs the interval or period of the pulse train in 0.1 msec steps from 0.1 msec to 999.9 msec. Pacer outputs are useful for programming the rate of other CDSbus System cards, such as the 53A-260, and for providing external stimulus pulses to a unit under test.

The sixth channel, channel F, provides a TTL level square wave output {bit rate clock) whose period is programmable from 400 nsec to 3.999 msec in 400 nsec steps.

BITE
Seven LEDs provide Built-In-Test Equipment (“BITE”) for the Pacer Card.
